Why it works

Most insoles support one arch. Your foot has four.

Twenty-six bones per foot, held in shape by four arches. Support only the inside one and the rest keep collapsing, which is why so many off-the-shelf insoles stop helping after a few weeks.

Medial arch

The inside arch everyone knows. Carries most of your body weight and the first to drop.

Lateral arch

Runs along the outside edge. Keeps your ankle from rolling outward as you push off.

Transverse arch

Crosses the middle of the foot. Spreads load side to side instead of into one hot spot.

Sits behind the toes. Takes the pressure off the ball of the foot when you're on it all day.

Maintainers

Freedom, once you’re there

An extraordinarily thin, light support with almost no break-in. Built for narrow shoes and sandals, and for everyday wear once your feet are already tracking well.

Comfort and prevention

Ultra-thin, super-flexible cushioning across three flexibility levels. Not built to correct serious pain, but a good way to keep your feet feeling good before problems start.

Before you come in

Because an arch support that isn't matched to your foot does very little. We take an imprint of both feet, choose from 18 styles and 250 sizes, then adjust the fit and have you walk on them. That part can't be done through a screen, and it's the part that makes them work.

About 45 minutes from walking in to walking out. That includes your free imprint analysis, the fitting itself, and a test walk around the store.

No, walk-ins are welcome at both stores and always have been. Booking a time just means we'll have someone ready for you when you arrive, which is worth doing on a Saturday.

Most people notice something on the test walk, before they've bought anything. That's deliberate. We'd rather you feel it first than take our word for it.

Usually yes. Bring the shoes you're on your feet in most and we'll fit to those. Many customers end up with a second pair for different footwear.

Every Ideal Feet arch support carries a lifetime warranty. Come back any time for a re-check or an adjustment, and if a support fails we'll replace it.
